IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest & IYO® Yoga Competition

1. INTRODUCTION
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in the IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest and IYO® Yoga Competition (collectively referred to as "Contests" or individually as "Contest") organized by [Company Name] ("Organizer," "we," "us," or "our"). By participating in any Contest, you ("Participant," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 General Eligibility Requirements:

• Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent if under 18
• Participants must have a valid email address and contact information
• Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of the Organizer are not eligible
• Participants must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
• Only one entry per person per Contest is allowed

2.2 Additional Requirements for IYO® Yoga Competition:

• Participants must have at least 6 months of yoga practice experience
• Medical clearance may be required for certain categories
• Participants must provide proof of yoga certification (if applicable)

3. CONTEST DETAILS
3.1 IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest
The IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest is a knowledge-based competition testing participants' understanding of IYO®'s Secret of the Yoga Sutras, yoga philosophy, history, poses, breathing techniques, and general wellness principles.

Contest Format:
• Online multiple-choice questionnaire
• Number of questions: [20]
• Scoring based on correct answers and completion time
• Winners determined by highest scores

The IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest is structured in three progressive elimination rounds, each featuring carefully timed sessions and a mix of question types tailored for evaluating yoga teachers.

Round Formats

Round 1: Questions on foundational yoga knowledge, history, and basic asana identification.

Round 2: Scenario-based questions, short answers, and case studies focusing on teaching methodology, philosophy, and troubleshooting in real class settings.

Round 3: Mixed format including in-depth analytical questions, interpretation of sutras, and application of yoga philosophy in contemporary practice (can include written and oral/video responses).



3.2 IYO® Yoga Competition
The IYO® Yoga Competition is a practical demonstration of yoga skills, including asana performance, breathing techniques, and overall presentation.

Competition Format:
• Live or recorded video submissions
• Categories: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
• Judging criteria: Technical skill, form, creativity, and presentation
• Time limit for submissions: 28th of every month
• Submission deadline: [28 days]

4. REGISTRATION AND ENTRY
4.1 Registration Process:

• Complete online registration form with accurate information
• Provide valid contact details and emergency contact information
• Accept these Terms and Conditions
• Submit required documentation (for Competition only)

5. JUDGING AND SCORING

5.1 IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest
• Automated scoring system based on correct answers
• Tie-breaker: according to answers (Only 3 winners will be declared every 40 days)
• Results verified by Contest administrators
• Scoring methodology available as per questions (Details into the question paper)

5.2 IYO® Yoga Competition
• Panel of qualified yoga instructors and experts
• Judging criteria:
- Technical accuracy (40%)
- Form and alignment (30%)
- Creativity and flow (20%)
- Overall presentation (10%)
• Judges' decisions are final and binding

6. PRIZES AND AWARDS
6.1 IYO® Yoga Quiz Contest Prizes:

6.2 IYO® Yoga Competition Prizes:

2) IYO Indian Yoga Virya Award - recognizing the exceptional energy and dedication displayed by the recipient. [Prize Soft and Hard Copy IYO® premium Certification]

3) IYO Indian Yoga Vasu Award - celebrating the harmony and balance achieved through the art of yoga.

7. PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Comply with all Contest rules and guidelines
• Maintain respectful and professional conduct
• Ensure physical fitness and health for participation (Competition)
• Use appropriate yoga attire and equipment
• Submit original work and content only
• Respect intellectual property rights
• Follow safety guidelines and practice at own risk

8. HEALTH AND SAFETY
8.1 Medical Disclaimer: Participation in yoga activities involves physical exertion and risk of injury. Participants acknowledge that they are physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent safe participation.

8.2 Assumption of Risk: Participants assume all risks associated with participation and agree to practice within their physical limitations.

8.3 Medical Emergency: Participants are responsible for providing emergency contact information and any relevant medical information.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
9.1 Participant Content: By submitting content (videos, images, responses), participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display such content for promotional and educational purposes.

9.2 IYO® Trademark: The IYO® mark is a registered trademark. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

9.3 Original Work: Participants warrant that all submitted content is original and does not infringe on third-party rights.

10. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
• Personal information collected in accordance with Privacy Policy
• Data used for Contest administration and communication
• Participants may request data deletion after Contest completion
• Marketing communications require separate consent
• Video submissions may be used for promotional purposes

11. DISQUALIFICATION
Participants may be disqualified for:

• Providing false or misleading information
• Violating Contest rules or Terms
• Engaging in unsportsmanlike conduct
• Submitting plagiarized or non-original content
• Attempting to manipulate voting or scoring systems
• Failing to meet eligibility requirements
• Safety violations during Competition

12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE ORGANIZER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTESTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LOSS OF DATA.

13. INDEMNIFICATION
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from their participation in the Contests or violation of these Terms.

14. FORCE MAJEURE
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the Contests due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government regulations, or technical failures.

15. MODIFICATIONS
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Participants will be notified of material changes via email or Contest platform. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [Karanataka/India]. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in [Bangalore/Hubli] or the courts of [Bangalore/Hubli Jurisdiction].
